65: AN EARLY 20TH C TABLE TORCHIERE ATTRIBUTED DURAND

A table-top torchiere or lamp, the blown art glass lily with crimped top edge, gold iridescent glass overlaid with pulled feather designs worked in green and white, adorned with gold glass threading, a brass base of saucer shape with flat scalloped base designs and four upward rising acanthus leaves to accommodate.
Measures 15.5 x 5.5 inches.
Two 1.4 inch lengths of threading lost near the lower end, plus one 1/8th inch bit closer to the flared trumpet top, irregularity of the tapered end, hidden within the brass base when assembled.
