A scarce wood engraving titled in pencil lower left, signed in pencil by the artist lower right. Hubert Deines attended the Kansas City Art Institute prior to his service in World War I and the opportunity to attend Julian Academy while in Paris just after the war.
Image measures 7 x 5, sheet is 10.5 x 8, frame is 18.75 x 14.75 inches.
Very good condition, the complete untrimmed sheet, not laid down, no damage or repair, paper tape at the top edge, a pale outline of a previous mat surrounds the image.
