6097: A TETE JUMEAU DOLL WITH PAPERWEIGHT EYES - C. 1907

Circa 1907, an antique French fashion doll with a bisque head, jointed composite body, with the original blue 'paperweight' fixed eyes, open mouth, pierced ears with earrings, wigged, cardboard pate. The red ink stamp on the back of the head reads 'Depose Tete Juneau Bte S.G.D.G. 6.' Dressed in a vintage dress with matching hat, shoes and stockings.
Measures 17 inches in height.
The bisque head is very good, complete. The composite body has some light chips and wear.
