A pair of circa 1800 knife and cutlery boxes, the double serpentine with flat columns and buttress feet, hinged slant tops on conforming base, the interior of each set with an inlaid slant mahogany interior tray with openings of various sizes and shapes.
Each measures 14.75 x 9.75 x 9.5 inches.
Good intact condition free from major damage or repair, the effects of age and use evident in the form of chips at the front base, minor veneer separation, one veneer chip to top of one, chips to the front rim of each cover.
