To include a flattened circular stoneware vase with a flourish of glaze made by Robert Fournier and bearing his monogram stamp, a sweeping modern form pitcher in smooth celadon-like blue glaze signed David Pier on the base rim. David Pier taught ceramics at the Kansas City Art Institute. Plus a third piece with damage and repair, a covered bisque vessel with decoration in black by ceramicist E.S. Eberle.
Sizes range from 7 x 7.5 x 3.5 to 8.75 x 11 x 7 inches.
Two works are in very good condition and free from chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear. The Eberle piece has been repaired as stated.
