329: TWO 19TH CENTURY VICTORIAN CARVED CAMEO BROOCHES

A large complex carved shell in bezel dated 1848, apparently a biblical depiction, unfortunately a piece has broken and been lost. Plus a circular carved shell brooch with central straight on bust in gold bezel with stamped hallmark.
Measures 1.25 inches in diameter and 2.75 x 2.25 inches.
Good condition overall, noting the obvious break and loss from the larger example, missing the catch on larger example, no other damage or repair.
