7177: EARLY 20TH C. OOGH FRATERNAL PAPERWEIGHT

Circa 1930, a cast iron figural groundhog paperweight, raised lettering 'OOGH' for The Oriental Order of Groundhogs and 'Cincinnati' on each side of the base. The Oriental Order of Groundhogs was an early 20th century fraternal organization for the machinist and foundry industries.
Measures 2 x 3.75 x 1.25 inches.
