Woody Woodpecker Production Cel (Walter Lantz, 1960s). The Woody Woodpecker Show premiered on TV on 10/3/57, and ran all the way until 1966. Walter Lantz made theatrical cartoons longer than any other studio, with new shorts continuously being produced till 1972! This is a great hand-inked and hand-painted production cel of Woody Woodpecker! A remarkable full-figure image of 6', with a charming facial expression. Includes a certificate from Gallery Lainzberg dating the cel to the 1960s.
Woody measures 5.5 x 3 inches in a 16 x 18 inch frame.
