87: A RARE, EARLY, UNUSUAL OAK ELECTRIC TOASTER C 1890

The oak frame with two matching pyramidal end frames with horizontal rods containing the heating element, mounted on oak base with outside posts connecting the electrical source directly to the heating element for unsafe design, similar designs were published as a home project in Popular Mechanics Magazine in the early 20th century, no markings found.
Measures 7.25 x 8.75 x 4 inches.
Very good original condition.
