6979: A CARVED WOOD REPLICA 1880s CHAPMAN FIRE HYDRANT

A nice quality carved mahogany replica in the style of a list model 82 fire hydrant made by Chapman Valve Mfg Company, in the style of those with small barrel topped by small bonnet and with lacework on underside of the flaring barrel, no markings, nice patina and perhaps early 20th century or older.
Measures 43.5 x 12 inches.
Very good condition.
