A rare and apparently unpublished original gouache painting for The Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway, unsigned. This original painting by an unknown artist was painted for use as an illustration on a Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway company brochure, calendar, advertising sign or other promotion. the Birks never found any examples of this work having been published.
Image size of 12 x 25 with a frame of 19.25 x 32.25 inches.
Very good original untouched condition. There are no issues of scratches, losses, repairs, in-painting or touch-up.
