64: AN 1883 BOUND PHOTO BOOK 'PULLMAN ILLUSTRATED'

A rare album of twenty-four mounted albumen photos bound as a book and depicting Pullman, Illinois, hard cover binding, printed booklet with photo captions and history of the town. Pullman, Ill. was a model industrial community developed by George M. Pullman, president of Pullman's Palace Car Company. It provided housing, shopping, churches, theaters, parks, hotel and library for Pullman Company workers and their families.
Measures 5.25 x 10 inches.
Shelf wear, covers are slightly loose, fly page at the back is separated but present complete. Very good condition.
