219: LATE 19TH C BRONZE BELL MARKED CHICAGO WEST DIV RY

A cast bronze bell with iron yoke and clapper assembly, the outer rim cast with the embossed letters of CHICAGO WEST DIV RY CO. It appears that CHICAGO WEST DIV RY CO. was acquired by West Chicago Street Railroad Co. around 1887.
Measures 3 x 3 inches.
Very good condition with nice patina and the exact amount of wear on the yoke that would confirm age and use.
