One particularly interesting example in demilune form, the top set with pink, green, colorless, purple and red semi-precious stone cabochons, a smaller compartment with hinged lid atop the hinged cover. The half-round case embellished with beading, applied metalwork decoration, columns, porticos and facades with openwork windows and doorways leading to small interior spaces, intricate flowering design hand engraved on the base. Plus a navette form box with removal cover, applied wire work decoration and small rosettes, oval lapis cabochons across the base metal container. No visible markings found on either.
Measures 1.5 x 2. x 3 and 1.25 x 3.5 x 2 inches.
