The 18th century, possibly early 19th century, oil on canvas view of a Capriccio, with figures among ruins near a harbor and masted ships, the coarsely woven canvas mounted to board, original stretchers, a very good carved and stippled and gessoed gilded shaped wood frame the majority of old or original gilding.
Board measures 52 x 14, frame is 56 x 20 inches.
Very good condition, no chips, cracks or repairs.
