305: A LATE 19TH CENT. CAPODIMONTE TYPE PORCELAIN BOX

The waisted lozenge form with ormolu frame hinged lid, the domed cover a classical scene with male and female figures and chariot attended by cherubs, the sides of the base with a continuous scene of cherubs and satyr cherub engaged in a variety of activities, a blue underglaze mark on the underside of the base.
Measures 3 x 9 x 6 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches, some visible gold wear.
