312: A FINELY CARVED, INLAID BLACK FOREST TABLE C 1870s

Circular tilt top centering a reserve of a lone deer within a landscape vignette on an ebonized ground encompassed by a highly figured inlaid wood framed surround interrupted with finely inlaid blossoming foliate, the pierced and carved apron of stylized shells flanked by chip-carved scrolling strap work, supported on a foliate wrapped baluster standard issuing four highly carved scrolled legs with flowering foliate carved knees and scrolled toes, raised on casters.
Measures 29 x 22 inches. Tilted measures 40.75 x 22 inches.
Very good condition throughout, no damage repair or heavy wear.
