348: SAMUEL H. BLACK PLAQUE 'THE NATIONAL MEDALLION'

Circa 1859, 'The National Medallion' copper plaque by Samuel H. Black with the entire Declaration of Independence in arched text, list of presidents to 1861 and the Battle Roll of the Revolution, four central roundels with images of Washington, signing of the Declaration, etc., housed in an oak frame.
Plate measures 17.25 x 13.25 inches. Frame measures 22.5 x 18.5 inches.
Very good condition.
