The mahogany case displaying solid wood carvings and contrasting match veneers, the arched crest with recessed fan carving in bas relief, the hinged door with carved half-columns applied either side, inlaid lower bracket flanked by drop finials, porcelain enamel dial with Roman numerals and inner brass trim ring, filigree hands, two weights, eight day, two winding apertures, large brass pendulum, unsigned.
Measures 42.5 x 17 x 8 inches.
Repair on the gong strike hammer. Glass pane is missing from one side. Very good intact running condition at the time of inspection. We cannot guarantee the running or timekeeping condition of timepieces once removed from the auction premises.
