79: A QUEEN AND CO 19TH C. MAHOGANY LABORATORY DEVICE

An early unusual laboratory measurement apparatus, circa 1890, with celluloid tag that reads 'Imported by Queen & Co, Philadelphia', '5175' incised on front wood cylinder, an early brass graduated rule along left side. As the brass pulley weight moves, the outer wire wrapped cylinder is elevated along with a brass marker which provides measurement on the graduated rule.
Measures 23.5 x 8 x 9 inches.
Very good cosmetic condition.
