An early cast iron Jupiter pencil sharpener by Guhl & Harbeck Co., Hamburg, Germany, marketed by Favor, Ruhl & Co, New York, NY., rotary cutter disc, gilded lettering and instructions, patent dated 1897, embossed marking under the base, two spare blades.
Measures 5 x 13 x 5,5 inches.
Very good original complete condition, a nice example with strong gilt lettering and decals.
