50: WILKES AND LIBERTY 18TH C. ENGRAVED GLASS GOBLETS

A stemmed glass with engraved bowl lettered WILKES AND LIBERTY with eagle and laurel decoration, raised on an internally decorated opaque twist stem and circular blown foot. Plus a second lower goblet with square foot having stepped base and blown knob supporting a flaring bowl with engraved decoration that includes CHRISTIAN LIBERTY FOREVER with an engraved village titled CARLISLE 1400.
Measure 7 x 3.25 inches and 5.75 x 3.75 inches.
The taller stem with twist stem is in very good condition, free from chips. cracks or repairs. The lower goblet with square base has a star crack as shown.
