Including a variation 1-GSN 'Junior' tin litho typewriter with metal case. Marked 'GSN, Germany, DRP, USA, Patente D.R.G.M.' Marked 'Junior' to the lid exterior. A Simplex Number 2 mounted on wooden base, with partial box and small bottle of ink, last US Patent Date: March 21, 1899. A Simplex Special Demonstrated Model D with box. Last US patent number 1521408 (marked on face). Mounted on cardboard base with an empty drawer. Perhaps had brochures if this was for a salesman. Box with directions for use printed inside the lid, taped repairs.
GSN Junior measures approx 8.25 inches wide by 9 inches long by 5.25 inches tall. Simplex Number 2 box measures approx 6.75 inches wide by 9.25 inches long by 3.5 inches tall. Simplex Model D box measures approx. 7.75 inches wide by 9.5 inches long by 3.25 inches tall.
All show wear and age, some crazing to the exterior of the Junior, boxes in poor condition.
