A 19th century two gallon stoneware jug in Bristol glaze with blue stenciled 'U.S. Supply Co., Fine Whiskies. 110-112 W. 5th St., Kansas City, Mo.' Impressed marks on the base '2' and 'Macomb Pottery Company, Macomb, Illinois.'
Measures 12 x 9 inches.
A firing crack under the neck with a hairline extending across the neck to the shoulder, another hairline crack on the handle. Chip under the base. Good condition with no other chips, cracks or repairs.
