A 19th century two gallon stoneware jug in Bristol glaze with blue inkstamp (double-stamped) 'M. Wolstein, Fine Whiskies and Liquors, Kansas City, Mo.' Impressed marks on the base '2' and 'Macomb Pottery Company, Macomb, Illinois.'
Measures 11.25 x 9 inches.
Scattered firing lines and glaze misses, hairline crack at the neck and across the handle, good condition overall.
