112: A RARE 1870s FRENCH WASH STAND WITH GREENAWAY KIDS

The yellow pine stand set with Sarreguemines creamware top and removable basin signed 'Lavabo-Bebe, Sarreguemines & Digoin,' decorated with transfer scenes of children. toys and animals in the manner of Greenaway Kids, the child characters developed by British illustrator Kate Greenaway, the yellow pine base with single door cabinet, towel racks at either side, circa 1875.
Measures 20 x 20 x 14.75 inches overall, porcelain top measures 18 x 14.75 inches.
Very good condition; there are no chips, cracks or repairs, minor crazing.
