A stone lithograph heightened with white, blue and purple gouache by hand, the subject of early aeronautics annotated 'Grand Prix de la Champagne, Henri Farman le gagnant sur son biplan Moteur Gnome' in the plate, possible alternate title 'Above The Clouds.' Signed Gamy lower right in the plate, transposed letters of Marguerite Montaut the artist's nickname, Magy.
Work measures 16.25 x 32, frame is 23.5 x 38.5 inches.
Good condition, noting scattered points of foxing, toned, minor darkened areas, the lithograph has been laid to mat board.
