The richly colored lithographed tin sign of convex form pictures a Gypsy beauty with advertising for 'Under Lock Straight Rye Whiskey', proprietor Wm. Albrecht, Boston, Mass. Bottled in Bond. Circa 1908.
'Bottled in bond is a label for an American-made distilled beverage that has been aged and bottled according to a set of legal regulations contained in the United States government's Standards of Identity for Distilled Spirits, as originally laid out in the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897.'
Measures 17.5 inches in diameter.
Good condition. Scattered areas of in-painting, no other chips, cracks, scratches or areas of heavy wear. Great color.
