106: A RARE HIRES ROOT BEER 'SYSTEM' SIGN CIRCA 1914

A paper advertising sign for Hires Root Beer illustrated with their soda jerk Josh Slinger, reads 'Thirsts gently Suffocated by the Hires System, 5-cents per suff,' copyright date 1914 lower right.
Frame measures 10.25 x 14 inches.
Apparently the condition is very good. A band of moderate discoloration along the bottom, no other visible issues of damage, repair, stain, discoloration or trimming. This work has not been examined outside the frame.
