180: AN ARCHIVE OF 60 PULLMAN RAILROAD PHOTOGRAPHS

A wide variety of photographs covering an impressive time span, with images going back to an 1870 Palace car and into the late 1930s. Individual railroads and cars include Kansas City Southern, Great Northern, Illinois Central, Rock Island, The George Washington, Forward, Marcelline, Hebrides and more. Many interior shots as well as a Sept. 15, 1932 dated letter on Pullman Company letterhead reading 'I am sending you herewith some photographs that are part of our archives and I make the request that they be returned just as soon as you have made copies thereof. They give exterior and interior views of standard Pullman equipment on the Overland Limited and the Los Angeles Limited,' signed by Pullman Vice President James Keeley.
Largest measures approximately 9 x 11 inches.
Good condition overall, noting normal age tone, some edge wear, some with notations on the reverse, a couple of possible reprints.
