A 19th century kaskara broad sword and sheath, hand forged and typical of the type found in Sudan, Chad, and Eritrea, with iron guard, wide fuller, remnant wood grip with wire wrap, leather covered pommel; includes leather sheath with hand tooled designs, Plus a north African Tuareg Tabouka broad sword, triple fuller, leather covered guard and grip, pyramidal metal pommel, with leather scabbard with suspensions and hand tooled designs.
Overall measurements 40 inches and 37.75 inches respectively.
