The late 18th century or early 19th century oil on canvas British School portrait of woman in 16th century dress, remains of a label verso reads: 'Theophilia, wife of James Cambell of Woodford, Essex, (married in 1658) ____ and daughter of Lord Mohun___________, sis___ of Earl of Chesterfield.'
Canvas measures 30 x 25, frame is 37 x 32 inches.
Very good condition, noting restoration, minor in-painting and touches in several small areas across the image.
