The hand colored stone lithograph published by Currier and Ives, depiction of Native Americans in woods, a teepee with interesting symbols and decoration in left background, title and legend below the image.
Measures 14.75 x 20.75, frame is 21.5 x 26 inches.
Very good condition, noting overall toning, central stain from backing, minor stain in the lower margin, the full sheet, not laid down, good color, full lower margin.
Provenance: The Van Dyke family, Marshall, Missouri civic leaders and entrepreneurs conducting business on the Marshall, Missouri square beginning around 1871. Their family collection of Art and Antiques spans more than four generations.
