91: SILK AND WOOL PERSIAN RUG SIGNED SEIRAFIAN ESFAHAN

The plum, light plum and ivory guard borders surround the navy blue border surrounding the creamy yellow ground field with ivory spandrels and curvilinear florals surrounding the central circular medallion with six-pointed star, the elaborate designs trimmed in many cases with silk highlights, signed by the artist and lettered SEIRAFIAN ESFAHAN within the flat-woven cotton and silk skirt, circa 1970.
Measures 91 x 61 inches.
Very good condition, good, even pile, no stain, odor or stiffened areas, minor color run and fringe tattering.
