146: TWO POTTERY FIGURES OF THE MADONNA SIGNED PATTARINO

Two good terra cotta figures: A bust figure of The Madonna in flowing gilt robe, wearing crown and cradling the child Jesus, glazed in polychrome enamels with gilt highlights, signed Prof E. Pattarino, Italy inside the base. A standing figure of the Madonna on cloud base holding child Jesus and wearing a long gold flowing cloak populated by six cherub faces, her robe enameled in petite flowers, a gilt halo radiating from the head of each figure, signed E. Pattarino Italy in gold on the high gloss crimson back of her flowing cloak.
Measures 9.5 x 9 and 13 x 6 inches.
Good condition, noting the bust figure with loss of one finger on Mary's right hand, loss of the tip from the object in her right hand, loss of the wing from one cherub on her crown, no other damage, no repair. The standing figure is with loss to the tips of the radiating halo on each figure, no other damage or repair.
