262: A GROUP OF THREE JAPANESE SATSUMA POTTERY VASES

Meiji and Edo period examples: the largest being a Meiji period vase with ring handles and molded hanging tassels, raised enamels and beaded decoration. The fine and distinctive example with black crackle glaze signed Gyozan, family name of decorators from Kyoto, the figures and other decoration executed in raised slip with multi-colored enamels and gold. And an Edo period example.
Measure 7.25 to 12 inches.
Very good condition throughout, no damage or repair.
