Two hand-colored lithographs: (1). John T. Bowen (approx. 1801-1856) 'Hunting the Buffaloe' published by E.C. Biddle, Philadelphia, circa 1837.(2). After Karl Bodmer (1809-1893) 'Yanktonan Indianer' plate no. 39, from 'Naturgeschichte und Abbildungen des Menschen,' published by J. Honegger, Zurich, circa 1845.
Sight size measures 9 x 15.25 with a frame of 22.5 x 25.25 and sight size of 8.75 x 13 and a frame of 19.25 x 25.5 inches.
Apparently the condition is very good. There are no visible issues of damage, repair, stain, discoloration or trimming. This work has not been examined outside the frame.
