Traditional 'good luck' national flag signed in Japanese, most signatures and messages radiating outward from the sun center, with additional Japanese and American names written in Latin letters throughout, leather corners with ties on bunting edge; plus an Argentine M1891 Mauser bayonet with alloy grips and steel scabbard mounted below.
Flag measures 28.5 x 38.5, bayonet is 3.5 x 21, and the frame is 41 x 51 inches.
Flag is mounted to the backing board in strategic spots with thread, scattered holes, general wear and folds. Bayonet has been glued to backing board and tied into place with thread.
