3: EARLY GAME-O-SKILL OAK COIN DROP TRADE STIMULATOR

The circa 1890s game of chance initially marketed as a toy, attributed to J.D. Latimer Company, the original placard instructs: PLACE A NICKEL IN THE SLOT, TAKE AIM, SHOOT FORWARD and outlines the awards as well along with the Game o' Skill designation and patent declaration. The back side describes it as a game of skill rather than chance and therefore 'PERMITTED EVERYWHERE.' A key, presumably the original, is included.
Measures 15.25 x 16 x 11.5 inches.
Very good original untouched condition, making the assumption that the internal bumpers are original; complete, no damage, repair or heavy wear.
