178: TWO 19TH CENTURY LUNCH HOUR WHIMSEY SCRATCH JUGS

Two good miniature jugs: the larger Albany slip jug with 'wired-off' bottom finish etched 'My Pet' with repeating loop flourish below the lettering; and a smaller caramel-colored slip jug etched 'Little Brown Jug.'
Measures 2.5 x 1.75 and 3.25 x 1.5 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
Provenance: The 45-year collection of Michael and Donna Hayes, West Plains, Missouri.
