A high karat gold and fused green glass brooch, executed in the technique unique to Pratapgarh district artisans in Rajasthan India, the pierce carved and hand engraved plaque over green fused glass and mounted in a cartouche bezel, the back side with locket for image or hair, unmarked, circa late 19th century.
Measures 1.5 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
