402: A RARE GLASS BUTTER STAMP WITH PAINTED FLOWERS C. 1880

A knob handle glass butter stamp with intaglio 'Pineapple' pattern, used for stamping a design onto a block of warm butter. This is example retains its hand painted decoration of dainty colorful flowers.
Measures 3.5 x 4.5 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
Provenance: The 45-year collection of Michael and Donna Hayes, West Plains, Missouri.
