The brown over Bristol cone top jug with stenciled black advertising for John Baum Wholesale Liquors Stillings Missouri. John Baum founded his business in Leavenworth, Kansas but crossed the Mississippi to Stillings when Kansas went dry in 1881.
Measures 8.75 inches.
Very good condition, noting minor flat flakes from the flat unglazed shoulder, perhaps occurring during manufacture.
