3: A VERY RARE PAINTED GLASS DR. PEPPER CHANGE TRAY

The rare early circular glass tray with raised edge, white ground fired-on enamel with lettering in red and black advertising DRINK Dr. Pepper KING OF BEVERAGES AT FOUNTAINS AND IN BOTTLES, the graphics and lettering 'reverse painted' in the same fused enamels technique as with paperweights of the period.
Measures 6 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
Provenance: The 45-year collection of Michael and Donna Hayes, West Plains, Missouri.
