The three rows of pink and green silk tulip blocks on white cotton enclosed by a billowy pink swag border with green buds, the quilting includes a nice wide border of closely stitched diamond solids, pink binding. Provenance: The captain Joseph Richard and Claudia Johnson family of Mexico, Missouri. Captain Johnson's father, William Otis Johnson (1827 - 1896) came to Missouri from Virginia.
Measures 82 x 82 inches.
All over light soiling, scattered stains, no tears, tatters or holes.
Provenance: Captain Joseph Richard and Claudia Johnson of Mexico, Missouri and their seven daughters.
