The four-color porcelain enamel departure sign from Union Station of Chicago announcing the Pioneer Limited which provided service between Chicago and Minneapolis-St. Paul; the first named train on The Milwaukee Road and among America's very first named passenger trains.
Measures 22 x 22 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, light wear at some edges, grade 9-plus.
