The pair of early 19th century scroll paintings mounted as kakejiku (hanging scrolls), in inks and colors on silk brocade textile depicting fishing boats at anchor on a river meandering into the distance between hills covered in blooming cherry blossoms beneath banks of clouds, signed at one corner 'Tangen hitsu' with red seal for Kano Tangen 'made this'; with hinoki wood storage box bearing a sumi hakogaki inscription from a previous owner.
Measures 18.75 x 71 inches.
