285: A B&O RAILROAD DIETZ 'VULCAN 39' LANTERN W/BRASS HANDLE

The wire-bottom lantern with single guard, currently mounted with an ornate stamped brass handle, embossed lettering of B.&O.R.R. on the smoke dome, signed Dietz Vulcan 39 on the cap, a tall, thick clear globe signed Thos. Evans Co and highly embossed lettering of B&O RR, Dietz burner.
Measures 10 x 7 inches.
A few minor flakes from the rim of the glass globe. Good condition overall.
