117: NUMBER BOARD AND BADGE FOR NYC BROOKS LOCOMOTIVE 3047

The cast iron mount, and number board with applied aluminum numerals, with aluminum oval badge; 3047 was built by Brooks Locomotive Works 1910 - 1911, a total of fifty were built and numbered 3000 - 3049.
Measures 16.5 x 18.5 x 1.5 inches.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ALUMINUM OVAL HAS BEEN CUT ALONG THE TOP EDGE AND BACK WHEN REMOVED FROM MOUNTING BRACKET. Very good condition, noting the obvious wear and effects of age and exposure to the elements.
