92: A 19TH C. FRENCH GILT BRONZE FERNER

Burl veneer reserves on the serpentine sides and ends, ram's head pilasters at four points, two rococo handles, four short bronze toupie feet, pierced gallery, zinc insert. A french tag on the underside bears a date of 1862.
Measures 7 x 14 x 9 inches.
Good though displaying the effects of age and use, veneer loss, loosened elements, separations, overall unevenness and misshapen form.
